The 8.8.2026 Lion’s Gate: Choosing Power, Balance & the Portal Within
Every year, the Lion’s Gate invites us to pause, listen, and consciously align with the energy of the heart, the soul, and the path we are here to walk.
But this year feels especially powerful.
On 08.08.2026, we meet the energy of the 8 not only through the day and the month, but also through the year itself:
8 + 8 + 2 + 0 + 2 + 6 = 26
2 + 6 = 8
A triple 8.
In numerology, the number 8 is often connected with infinity, balance, power, manifestation, responsibility, and the flow between the spiritual and material worlds. Turned on its side, the 8 becomes the infinity symbol... a reminder that life is infinite, not linear, that energy moves, returns, balances, teaches, and expands.
And during the Lion’s Gate, this symbolism meets the energy of Leo: the heart, courage, visibility, creativity, and the willingness to shine.
So for me, this portal is not only about manifestation.
It is about choosing.
Choosing to step into our power.
Choosing to return to balance.
Choosing to live more consciously.
Choosing to remember that we are not separate from the divine, from life, from each other, or from the multidimensional truth of who we are.
But here is something I feel is deeply important:
Power is not force.
We, as humanity, often confuse those two.
Force tries to control.
Force manipulates.
Force pushes.
Force needs others to behave in a certain way so that it can feel safe.
Force violates free will.
Power is different.
True power is rooted in love.
It is rooted in compassion, understanding, forgiveness, and deep inner alignment.
Power honors our own free will and the free will of others. It allows us to choose consciously without trying to dominate the path of another soul. It asks us to stand in truth without hardening our heart.
Power does not need to shout.
Power knows.
Power is centered.
Power is balanced.
Power is love with a spine.
And this is the invitation I feel in this Lion’s Gate, to ask ourselves:
- Where am I being called to return to my center.
- Where am I giving my power away?
- Where am I trying to force something because I do not yet trust life?
- Where am I out of balance?
- Where am I being invited to choose differently?
Balance is not a fixed destination.
It is a living relationship with ourselves, with others, with our bodies, our emotions, our purpose, and our soul.
A balanced life does not mean everything is ''perfect.''
It means we are listening.
It means we are no longer abandoning ourselves to belong.
It means we are no longer confusing peace with silence.
It means we are no longer confusing love with self-sacrifice.
It means we are willing to look honestly at what is not aligned, not to judge ourselves, but to bring ourselves back into harmony.
So maybe this portal asks:
What would balance look like for me now?
Would it mean resting more?
Speaking more truth?
Creating more?
Letting go of control?
Receiving support?
Taking action?
Forgiving?
Setting a boundary?
Allowing myself to be seen?
As we come more and more into balance, we naturally begin to access more of our multidimensional selves. Not because we escape this life, but because we become more fully present inside it.
When we are centered in our power, we become clearer channels for the gifts, wisdom, frequencies, and remembrance that want to move through us.
We do not need to become someone else.
We are invited to embody more of who we already are.
And this Lion’s Gate also feels personal for me, because I am delighted and deeply grateful to share that beginning this September, I will be helping co-create and host the SAI en Español events for Spiritual Awakenings International.
This feels like a beautiful new beginning, a space for the Spanish-speaking community to gather, share, explore spiritual awakening, Spiritually Transformative Experiences, healing, consciousness, and the many ways life speaks to the soul.
It feels aligned with this portal of balance, power, and conscious creation.
Because when we step into our own light, we do not shine alone.
We help open spaces where others can remember their light too.✨
So on this 8.8.2026 Lion’s Gate, I invite you to take a moment for yourself.
Place your hand on your heart.
Take a deep breath.
And ask:
Where am I ready to step into my true power?
Where is life inviting me back into balance?
What part of me is ready to be remembered, embodied, and lived?
May this portal remind you that your power is not something outside of you.
It is already within you.
Waiting to be chosen.
